People Helping People

Me, Myself & I was established in 2013 to offer emotional support, reassurance, and opportunities for social connection. Our services include friendship groups, day breaks, community care through our Companionship service, social events, a charity shop, training, volunteering & employment programs, and support for Direct Payment recipients.

We provide a welcoming and relaxed environment where individuals and their families can socialise and feel supported.

Since 2013, the charity has evolved from a small shopfront venue to the former Brynhyfryd Primary School in Briton Ferry, which we moved into in October 2018.

Our goal is to provide a community hub where adults of all ages and abilities can access various services, information, and advice. This Community Hub enables us to offer an expanded range of services, additional training and volunteering opportunities, and enhanced collaboration with partners.

Our services remain consistent, and our core ethos of “People Helping People” is reflected in everything we do and for everyone who visits. At its simplest, “People Helping People” means that everyone supports one another to build friendships and foster positive lives.

If you are situated in the area and need help with a family member living with dementia, we are here to help.
