Support we can provide

How can we help?

  • Friendship Groups
  • Day Break
  • Companionship with Care – Care in the community (care at home/community service)
  • Direct Payments support – Suitable Persons Service
  • Carers Network – Support, information & Guidance
  • Specialist Training, volunteering & employment programmes

There are a number of options open to you, whether it is attendance at our Friendship Groups or Day Break (half & full day available) or alternatively, we can provide care in your home or out in the community, contact us to find out what would work for you and your family.

Through the provision of Direct Payments we are also able to support you with the employment of a Personal Assistant. To access Direct Payments you must first contact Social Services for an assessment and if successful a referral will be sent to us.

For care partners, family and friends we offer bespoke support to suit peoples lives, this could include 1-1 support, group meetings, video or telephone calls. We also provide ‘talking point’ sessions, these are bitesize information sessions to better equip you with tools and tips on how navigate the journey of dementia. We have also developed a Toolkit for carers, a handy sized information booklet to help support you in daily life – contact us for a free copy.

If you are situated in the Neath Port Talbot area and need help with a family member living with Dementia, we are here to help.
